When "Away" is on, you'll receive push notifications and in-app alerts when activities are detected on the selected devices.

Under the Away mode, the alarm is triggered when one of the selected devices detects human or its PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor is triggered. If you have a Kami base station installed, its siren will sound.

When "Home" is on, you won't receive push notifications and in-app alerts from the selected devices.

Unselect a device, for example, an outdoor camera, to bypass the mode change. Unselected devices will keep monitoring, recording and sending notifications even when the Home mode is on.

Can I turn on and off the alerts of an individual device when the “Home” or “Away” mode is on?

Yes. For example, you can activate the motion detection to receive alerts when the “Home” mode is on. The group settings of the “Home” and “Away” mode will take effect next time when you switch between the “Home” and “Away” mode.

When the "Home" mode is on, will my cameras send alerts and keep recording?

The "Home" mode turns off the push notification and in-app alerts. Nevertheless, the cameras will keep recording on the local and/or cloud storage and won’t be interrupted by the Home and Away mode change.

What happens to the notification schedule set on a camera that is included in the "Home" and "Away" mode?

The “Home” and “Away” mode will take priority over the camera notification schedule setting till the next schedule starts.

If you wish to receive and stop notifications according to the schedule you created, we recommend removing the device(s) from the “Home” and “Away” mode by deselecting them.

Can I add a camera protected by a PIN code to the "Home" and "Away" mode?

No. If the camera is protected by a PIN code, you need to unlock the camera to view the stream with the PIN code, Fingerprint or Face ID. As a result, you cannot add a camera with PIN code protection to the "Home" and "Away" mode.
